I just completed a 2 week course in Maya. It's a high-power, cutting-edge, 3D modeling program used by every design discipline, including film. Here are a couple things I came up with using the techniques I learned:
|Built a base geometry, shot particles within it, mapped them, and converted their trajectories into the resultant geometry.|
Becoming proficient in this software is really going to help me in school and will also make me more competitive in the job market. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do with it down the road!
